The 2011 Porsche Cayenne Lineup - More Powerful, Moor Room & More Fuel Efficient

The launch of the 2011 Porsche Cayenne is just around the corner, and Porsche fans in Annapolis and all around Maryland and DC are talking about the next generation of Porsche's ground-breaking SUV.

The 2011 Cayenne line up consists of four new Cayenne models – the Cayenne, Cayenne S, Cayenne Turbo and the Cayenne S Hybrid, Porsche's first-ever production hybrid vehicle.

The Cayenne S and Cayenne Turbo are expected to be on sale in Annapolis in July. The Cayenne and Cayenne S Hybrid should be in our showrooms this fall.

Pricing for the 2011 Cayenne will start at $46,700 for the entry level Cayenne.

The Cayenne S, with a standard 400-horsepower V8 Porsche engine, will start at $63,700.

The Cayenne S Hybrid, our first Hybrid Vehicle will start at $67,700.

The Cayenne Turbo, the fastest of the new 2011 Cayenne’s that also boasts an engine producing 500-horsepower, will have a sticker price starting at $104,800.

2010 is starting off to be a great year for Porsche of Annapolis.

On March 17, 2010, J.D. Power & Associates released their Most Dependable Car's for 2010, if you haven't heard yet, Porsche stole the number 1 spot as the most dependable car for the first time!! Porsche had made the top 10 list of dependable cars in 2009, taking the 9th spot. This year Porsche has jumped up 8 spots on that list and beat out competitors following close behind, Lincoln took second place, Buick and Lexus tied for third and Mercury rounds off the top 5 Most Dependable Cars. The adjustments on both the 2010 Boxster and 2010 911 helped Porsche earn the number one spot for 2010!

In addition to earning the title as The Most Dependable Car for 2010, Porsche has also made Forbes list of The Toughest Cars on the Road. Everyone knows that the expectations are always going to be high for Porsche, but we've managed to overpass those expectations. For the first time ever, Porsche is named The Toughest Car on the Road. We have the 911 to thank for this award!

Junior League of Annapolis - - Chefs by the Bay

On March 21st, 2010 Junior League of Annapolis had their 11th Annual Chefs by the Bay at the Loews Hotel in downtown Annapolis. Junior League of Annapolis is an organization of women who volunteer and improve the community for women and children for all of Anne Arundel County. Chefs by the Bay is one of many events to help raise money for the women of Junior League of Annapolis to allow them to continue their volunteer work in Anne Arundel County. Chefs by the bay is a gourmet food and wine tasting as well as a silent auction gala. Many restaurants in the Annapolis Area were showing their support by donating their time and delicious food samples, along with donations from all over Anne Arundel County from businesses providing auction packages, to individuals donating their vacation homes. Any money that was spent at this event was used solely for Junior League of Annapolis's volunteering. Porsche of Annapolis is a proud sponsor of the Junior League of Annapolis for the second year in a row. Porsche of Annapolis had an all new 4-door Panamera S on display in the lobby of the Loews Hotel during Chefs by the Bay. We also had two of our associates, Rick Brewer and Jenn Woffinden, who attended this event. They had a great time supporting such a wonderful cause, Porsche of Annapolis is very honored to be a part of this movement to help the women and children of Annapolis.
